Why we made it We spent a total of six years developing prototypes and gathering feedback from cycling's biggest stage, leaving no design choice unexamined and no convention unchallenged. The critical updates to the new EQUIPE RS shorts are a new textile and a new insert. The new textile, Type.911, allowed us to completely reengineer the cut, reducing the seam count and wrinkles while micro-adjusting fit across the legs and waist. It also let us eliminate the rollBar bib strap design, because Type.911 is more elastic and more compressive than the Type.441 used on the previous generation. Rather than merely suspended from bib straps, the S11 shorts envelope the rider’s body in omnidirectional, body-mapped stability. The new RS S11 insert’s top sheet is both softer against the body and more durable for washing, and it has an improved odor control treatment while maintaining its predecessor’s cooling airflow, micro-shock damping, and low-volume, lightweight profile.

Our impossibly light RSR Jersey S11 replaces the RSR SUPERLÉGER S9. These shorts feature a newly designed comfortFit: less compression and a less restrictive fit on the waist and abdominal areas, but the leg circumference and length are the same as on the T.équipe. The unique insert is a small masterpiece that has been specifically designed for ultra-long-distance missions. Ergonomically shaped, it uses higher density memory foam shock absorbers and features a very special ASSOS invention, kuKuPenthouse. In the front section of the insert there is a low volume circular inlet that accommodates the male anatomy in cocoon-like comfort, yet holds everything securely. As well, T.cento offers reduced motion and greater breathability in this sensitive area. WHEN TO USE?
