The problem with so many cycling caps is that they are too bulky to fit under most helmets. Ours reduces that bulk by using the same 18.5-micron Merino/polyester plated construction found in our base layers, so that it will fit under a helmet and wick moisture away as it regulates temperature. Our incredibly talented friends at Ostroy took on the challenge to design one of their signature Monument designs for our Cycling Mecca here in Boulder, Colorado. The five panel cap design makes for a rounder more contoured fit and a unique look. Monuments in cycling refers to five famous one-day Classics: Milan-San Remo, the Tour of Flanders, Paris-Roubaix, Liège-Bastogne-Liège, and Il Giro di Lombardia. In Boulder we have our own cycling monuments: Lickskillet Road, Boulder Theater, Chautauqua Amphitheater, Roosevelt National Forest, the Flatirons, University Bicycles ;-) — and more. Ostroy broke out their old pen and ink to draw some of our favorites.
