The minimalist OFF-ROAD ST T3 Insert is 33% thinner than the High Performance model in our TACTICA HP T3 liner, though its dual layer construction erases microvibrations and diffuses shocks and larger impacts.

The waist construction and leg bands are the same as the more robust TACTICA HP liner, wrapping the waist and thighs with lightly compressive security. The minimalist OFF-ROAD ST T3 Insert has a minimal 6mm of foam, engineered with a mono-layer construction to erase microvibrations and diffuse the lighter impacts of less aggressive off-road riding.

The absence of bib straps compounds the difficulty of dialing the perfect ride-tuned fit. To address that, we reimagined the waistband with a stabilizing elastic layer that anchors the fit and an additional top band of mesh that extends coverage, independent of the elastic band, for comfort, moisture management, and to eliminate gaps between shorts and jersey while in the saddle. The updated insert features increased ventilation, a reduced footprint, and a new Odor Control Top Sheet Tex in Sugar Blue.

The new generation of GTV includes critical updates for comfort, from a new waist construction to a new insert – our plushest women-specific model. The waist incorporates a lighter textile with more body-wrapping elasticity, adding a supportive fit without restriction across all riding positions. The new insert features two layers of shock-absorbing foam, with targeted support under the ischial bones. Two additional cut-ins reduce bulk at the front of the insert, letting it conform to the body throughout the pedal stroke without folding or impediment. The innovative bisiClick system uses two magnetic closures to facilitate long-distance rides with convenient bib strap release.

The UMA GT Women’s Half Shorts blend several proven textiles and construction techniques to create a truly unique pair of shorts that are as fast as they are comfortable. Like our high-end Laalalai Shorts, they’re cut from Type.439 Diadema, a fabric chosen for its exceptional stretch, high-wicking, and compressive capabilities. Wind-tunnel tested and using our aerodynamic Fenomeno1 design, these are our some of our fastest women’s cycling shorts yet. The precise fit comes down to the waistband design, where we applied our breathable, ultrasoft Aerofit material at the front, using a fold-over construction that comfortably holds the shorts in place across the abdominals. We did the same at the lower legs, adding a secure, stay-put fit with an asymmetrical hold on the thighs. Compared to our Laalalai shorts, these are 2.5cm shorter in length. And in terms of the insert, we’ve sewn in the lightweight, breathable S7 EVO to deliver targeted support and all-day comfort.
