Derived from our extremely successful Enduro rims, which have won at the world's highest level under the world's fastest racers, the M 462 packs that world-class technology into a slightly slimmed package for All Mountain use while staying affordable thanks to the sleeved rim joint.

A 40mm inner width support wide tires, while the welded rim keeps the weight low. Super-wide tires provide real traction, control, and safety, even on very difficult trails. The DT Swiss XM 551 rim is the ideal counterpart to those beefy tires. An extra-strong alloy specified by DT Swiss, the proprietary PHR nipple system, and excellent tubeless compatibility make it possible to harness the full potential of these new tires.

Surly's Rolling Darryl Rim is a seriously wide single-walled rim. It's made to give wide tires an even wider footprint for better traction. Run low tire pressure and this 82mm wide rim will let you rock crawl over boulders and float through sand like you never thought possible. The material between the spokes is drilled out to reduce weight.
